Happily ever After

Once Upon a time…

When choosing a name inspiration can come from anywhere. I love the name Aurora, a name I always relate to the princess in Sleeping Beauty of course. (Loving AU names currently :D). Thinking about this name I thought perhaps other people might gain some inspiration and enjoy reliving the tales of their childhood through these names. Hope you enjoy.

Aurora – Sleeping Beauty
Briar Rose- Sleeping beauty
Jasmine- Aladdin
Alice- Alice in Wonderland
Ariel – Little Mermaid
Cindy “Cinderella” – Cinderella (nn also Ella)
Gretel – Hansel and Gretel
Belle – Beauty and the beast
Wendy – Peter Pan
Esmeralda - Hunchback of Notre Dame
Tiger Lily – Peter Pan
Tinkerbelle – Peter Pan
Melody – Little Mermaid
Flora- Sleeping Beauty
Nala- Lion King
Charlotte- Charlotte's Web
Marian- Robin Hood

Pan- Peter Pan
Peter- Peter Pan, Narnia
Aladdin- Aladdin

Perhaps these names will help you achieve you perfect ending in finding the perfect name. Briar especially is different name not used regularly. Unusual it’s got a bit of a kick in it? My favourite girl name would be Ariel and Aurora and favourite boys name Pan and Triton. There different, original and quite cute.

And they all lived Happily Ever After

My favorites are Wendy (from Gwendolen, please), Alice & Esmeralda from the girls. Spell Philip thusly and he's a favorite. Sebastian (naturally), Robin (as a nickname for Robert) & Peter are favorites from the boys.

Did you know Cinderella really was a legit name back in the middle ages? I have a huge GP sort of love for Cinderella.

I didnt know that Cinderella was a legit name. Obviously it hasnt carried on which i guess is a shame. It would definately be interesting to see some Cinderella's in the class

I just adore the name Robin on a boy! I have an Aunt named Robyn aswell so it is sort of a family name.

I think its likely that Robin will pull through to number 1 anyday now. Oh I just love it!!

An odd afterthought, A Cinderella could also go by Ella.

Ella is cute more common and normal than Cindy. If you didnt like the name Cinderlla (which ithink you have to love) ella would be the perfect suggestion to normal your name :D- good suggestion!
